sept 11,2001.hijacked airliners crashed into WTC killing 3000 odd people.2 years on,the legacy of 9/11 is ever-present in the minds of many im sure.sept11 revealed that the age of globalization was also the age of religion.it was a perversion of religion that flew those planes into the twin towers.every religion says 'thou shalt not kill',and every religion has more than its fair share of fanatical loyalists who have killed to prove the point.the pious cannot begin to strive for good until they recognize the potential for evil in their faith and the evil done in its name.today,ground zero holds an empty spot where the twin towers once stood tall.remnants long been cleared,yet horrors still lived on,evoking strong emotions,never straying far from minds of millions around the world.for those who perished in this terrorist attack,lets hope they have found at last some small measure of the peace we all seek but few of us ever find.
